Company

Time Associates Inc., Oy is a Finland-based trading company established in 1988. Its original business idea was to export various products and materials from Finland to Japan as an exporter and export agent. 

Due to the company founder’s history and to the peculiar business practice in Japan, it has been possible to open markets in Japan for quite different kinds of products: a passenger submarine was delivered to Japan and a market of healthy mineral salt was opened.  However, all the time also wooden products have played an important role in our business activity: log houses, wooden furniture, glued wooden housing components, etc.

Later on the company specialized strongly in exporting European wooden furniture and other interior products to Japan and to other Asian countries.  These products were made - in addition to Finland - in Italy, Spain, Portugal, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland, England, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Russia and in the Scandinavian countries. We have long lasting business contacts in all these countries and a long-time history in operating in Asia.
